Frequently asked questions

Is the mailbox USPS-approved?

The manufacturer does not state USPS approval for this model, so we don't claim it. We install it at the height and setback in USPS curbside guidance (41–45 in from the road to the mail floor, 6–8 in back from the curb face). USPS asks homeowners to check with their local post office before installing a new curbside box, and we recommend you do.

Will my carrier still deliver?

The carrier drops mail through the top slot; only you open the locked door. Large packages that don't fit will still be left as usual.

Do I need HOA approval?

Many DFW HOAs have mailbox rules. Please check yours before booking; we're happy to send you the product specs to submit.

Do you dig? What about utility lines?

For Complete Installs we request utility locates through Texas 811 and wait for the all-clear before digging, which can add about two business days.

How long does it take?

A Box Swap usually takes under an hour. A Complete Install usually takes a couple of hours, and the concrete needs time to cure.

Can you work on brick or stone columns?

Not in our standard packages. Send photos through the booking form and we'll let you know.

What colors and sizes are available?

To keep pricing simple we offer one box size in black, on a black or bronze post.

How do I pay?

We'll confirm price and payment details when we schedule your install.

Do you install lights, address numbers or door mailboxes?

Not right now. We focus on curbside lockable mailboxes.
